Build reliable algebra, geometry, fractions, exponents and equation-solving skills.
Worked example
Example: Solve 4x − 7 = 21. Add 7: 4x = 28. Divide by 4: x = 7.
Coach tip
Keep operations balanced: whatever you do to one side of an equation, do to the other.
How to practice
- Start untimed and prioritize accuracy.
- Review every miss and label the reason: concept, reading, formula, setup or rushing.
- Repeat the underlying skill with a different problem.
- Add time pressure only after the method feels reliable.
