What is the ASVAB?
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a multi-aptitude test used by the U.S. military. Different subtests contribute to enlistment qualification and service-specific career composites.
What is the AFQT score?
The AFQT is derived from Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension and is reported as a percentile from 1 to 99.
Is the AFQT the same as the total ASVAB score?
No. The ASVAB contains multiple subtests. The AFQT is one important qualification measure, while service-specific composite or line scores use additional subtests for career qualification.
Does ASVAB Score Coach contain real current ASVAB questions?
No. The practice questions are original and unofficial. The goal is to practice the underlying skills and methods without claiming access to current official test items.
How should I begin studying?
Start with a baseline, identify weak skills, learn the method, practice that skill, review mistakes and retest. Avoid splitting study time equally if some areas need much more work.
What happens in the free app experience?
The app starts with a 20-question core diagnostic across AR, MK, WK and PC to create an initial strengths-and-weaknesses picture and preview a recommended study direction.
What does Premium include?

How many ASVAB subject quiz tracks are included?
Premium is designed around 10 subject quiz tracks corresponding to the computerized ASVAB subtest areas represented in the app’s production pool.
Are the app mock tests official ASVAB tests?
No. They are ASVAB-style practice mocks. Their timing and scoring are for practice and should not be presented as official ASVAB administration or official scores.
Can a score guarantee a military job?
No. Career eligibility can depend on service-specific line/composite scores, current openings and other enlistment requirements. A target score can guide study, but it is not a job guarantee.
